My Mum
She was a Joker, Always Playing jokes and Smiling
She was always there for people when they needed her
She loved music and dancing always first one up at a party !
She was loved by everyone who knew her !
She Will always be Loved and missed

A poem by her grandson Shaun James Pook

Losing Someone Close To Me

I can't forget the day she died
I can't forget the tears i cried
I can't forget how i feel
But she is now watching me still.
I can't forget her happy smile
And i wish in my heart she would stay a while
So i wish right now she could hear me say
I never in my life thought
She would go away

If roses grow in heaven, Lord, pick a bunch for
me ~ Place them in my Mother's arms & tell her they're from me
~Tell her that I love & miss her, & when she turns to smile ~
place a kiss upon her cheek & hold her for a while ~ Because
remembering her is easy ~ I do it everyday ~ There's an ache within
my heart that will... never go away.

The world may change from year to year
And friends from day to day,
But never will the ones we loved
From memory pass away.

nan

The sun it shines
it always will
But with a vacant heart
no one can fill. The memories of
good times passed
cant be relived but
will always last.

Six Years then
but im older now
to respect the love
you shared and how.

I see you smile
when i close my eyes
Special you are
and love still lies.

i miss you nan
i always will
please stay calm and still.

A Mothers touch, A Mummys's kiss,
A grieving Daughter, You're greatly missed.

An empty house, An empty chair,
A mothers love, No longer there.

A broken heart, Tear filled eye,
Another soul to fill the sky.

Many memories in my mind,
Some I laugh, Some I cry.

The times we shared, The laughs we had,
Things I miss when I think of you mum.

Realizing that's all I have to hold on too,
Only memories, Of what once was you.

Missing your laugh, I will never again hear.
That is the reality that fills me with so much fear.

No more smile on your face,
No more warmth of your embrace.

The last hug, The last kiss,
The last "goodbye" leaves me with one last wish...

To have you mum, here today,
Never to leave your Daughter this way.

A Mother’s touch, A Mummy's kiss,
A grieving Daughter, YOU'RE GREATLY MISS

The chain

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name,

In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone,

For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,

And though we cannot see you, your always at our side.

Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,

But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

This day is remembered and quietly kept,
No words are needed, we shall never forget,
For those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day.
Unseen and unheard, but always near,
So loved, so missed, and so very dear.
